Case Study - Business Development Seminars
CLIFFORD Solutions suggested to a solicitor and accountant that customer seminars might be a way of generating substantial extra business. Both were looking to expand in the commercial areas of their business and had agreed to work together.
CLIFFORD Solutions worked with both companies to agree an outline for the seminar covering ‘Tax issues and corporate responsibilities’. The event was arranged at a good local hotel and two sessions were run, one at breakfast and the other at lunch time. The set up was made to look professional with simple, but effective, staging and a back projected screen. Speakers were well rehearsed and gave good information to the delegates while leaving them ‘wanting more’. CLIFFORD Solutions had worked with presenters to make sure presentations were clear and slides were effective.
Over breakfast and lunch (after the presentations) many appointments were made to explore opportunities further. Significant business has been written since.
